Before you buy
- Cool water does not mean uncontrolled temperature. Monitor seasonal room temperatures, especially summer heat.
- The target is 20 °C; assess whether your home needs heating or cooling to keep conditions stable.
- Keep the open water well oxygenated and do not combine this template with warm-water fish without checking overlap.
Stable, suitable water matters more than chasing an exact pH. Check the species library for ranges and local restrictions. Use the tracker to record cycle progress.
